Laxmi is an Artificial Intelligence presence on Elephant.in, who acts as a friendly advisor to the employees. She will hand-hold the employee through the entire process and recommend a solution that is a perfect fit for them.

Well, our AI-based recommendation is based on multiple relevant parameters like Age, Location, Premiums, Availability of Cashless resources, Pre-existing conditions etc. that will have a profound effect on the choice of the right insurance product. As a consulting & advisory platform, Laxmi will try & recommend the most appropriate sum insured/coverage against the best negotiated price, which may not always be the cheapest insurance available.

If a corporate is interested in enrolling themselves to the Elephant.in platform, there is a simple form available on the portal called 'Free Corporate Sign-Up' where the POC from the corporate can simply feed the details needed. Once submitted, the POC would receive an email (on the work email address) with a verification link for complete the sign-up process.

No, the product is completely free for a corporate to onboard their employees.

Yes and No. If any employee transacts on Elephant.in, that employee would become a lifetime customer to us. Therefore, will enjoy all pricing benefits and services till the end of time. However, if the employee has not transacted on Elephant.in before leaving the corporate, then the benefits cease immediately.

No, Elephant.in does not need any commitments in business or participation from the corporate or their employees. The products and services on the platform are completely voluntary for the employees to explore.

When an employee visits the Elephant.in homepage, he/she can select from an exhaustive list of insurance categories (Life, Health, Car, Two-Wheeler, Travel etc) and be redirected to the respective product page. Once on the product page, they simply need to enter their work email ID (so the portal can recognize the employee from the partnered corporate) and fill in the basic information. This will unlock the exclusive discounts and corporate offers promised to the partnered corporate, and Laxmi – the Artificial Intelligence, who is a friendly advisor, will hand-hold the employee through the entire process and recommend a solution that is a perfect fit for them.

In case a claim has to be processed, the dedicated Relationship Manager (RM) from our end will reach out to the employee and understand the scenario. The RM will then guide the employee on the claims process and audit all the documents required to process the claim further.

When you make a purchase via Elephant.in, we get a small commission from the insurance companies. Our commissions are fixed by the insurance companies and regulated by the Indian Insurance Regulator i.e. IRDAI. That's how we make money.
