Types of number plates in India

1. Black number plate

Self-rental vehicles, such as bikes and cars in India, are identified by black number plates and are registered under the classification of commercial vehicles.

2. Red number plate

The presence of a red number plate indicates that a brand new car is currently utilizing a temporary vehicle registration plate and has not yet been issued a permanent one.

3. Yellow number plate

6. White number plate
